Overview
Admin Copilot is an AI-powered assistant designed to help Front admins translate workflow needs into the right Front setups, following best practices. After you ask a question, you’ll receive an actionable plan to support and optimize your team’s processes. Use these recommendations to confidently build the right automations using rules, tags, macros, and more.
Admin Copilot will be able to:
Understand your goals and ask clarifying questions
Identify what to build and how best to build it in Front
Recommend a solution and provide an implementation plan
Prerequisites
You must be a Front company admin or workspace admin to use this feature.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the gear icon, then navigate to company or workspace settings. Navigate to the Home page or click the Admin Copilot ✨ icon at the bottom right of the page.
In this example, we’ll access Admin Copilot from the Home page in company settings.
Step 2
Enter your workflow question into the text box. You’ll also see example questions if you need help getting started.
Step 3
Admin Copilot may ask clarifying questions if more information is needed. Enter any additional details in the text box.
Step 4
Once there's enough information, Admin Copilot will provide you with a high-level plan on what to build to support the workflow you described.
To ask Admin Copilot a new question, click Restart conversation.
Once you restart the conversation or refresh the page, you won’t be able to view your previous chat history.
You can copy and paste the chat content into an external document if you need to revisit the information.
FAQ
Which languages are supported?
Only English is officially supported at this time. While it is possible to use this feature with other languages, unexpected results may occur.
Are draft messages saved?
Yes. If you start a draft in the Admin Copilot page, it will still be available if you navigate to another page then return to the Admin Copilot page. However, the draft will not be saved if you refresh your app.
What does Admin Copilot use as its knowledge source?
Admin Copilot retrieves information from Front’s internal best practices and our Help Center when generating responses.
Are there limitations?
Admin Copilot cannot currently do the following:
Read any Front resource in your instance such as conversations, rules, tags, etc.
Create / edit / delete resources
Save chats for future reference
How do I share feedback?
Use the thumbs up / thumbs down icons under each AI response to rate the answer you received. A pop-up will appear for you to provide more information.
