How to enable and use the Bulk Dialpad SMS plugin

Use the Bulk Dialpad SMS plugin to bulk message multiple recipients at once using Front’s native Dialpad SMS integration. Each recipient will receive their own copy of the message, so replies can be handled in separate conversations.

Add the recipients you want to bulk message into a Front contact list. 

In the Dialpad Bulk SMS plugin, fill in the following fields:

• Contact lists: Select the contact list you want to send a message to

• Dialpad channels: Select the Dialpad SMS phone number you want to send a message from. The number must be connected to Front to appear in the list.

• Message body: Enter the content of your message

• Message attachment (optional): Add one image or GIF to the message

When you click Send, you’ll see an indicator displaying the progress in sending your messages. Front will respect Dialpad’s rate limit of 100 messages per minute.

Each recipient will receive their own copy of the message. In Front, you’ll see each message as its own conversation in Front, and the conversation also displays the name of the teammate who initiated the bulk message.
