How to share calendars between team members

Overview

Front Calendar makes it easy to view your teammates' calendar availability and schedule meetings on their behalf. In order to take advantage of those features, you must first be shared on your teammate's calendars in Google or Office 365. That way, when Front syncs with your calendar, we'll be able to display your teammates calendars in addition to your own.


How to share calendars in Google Calendar

If you are a Google Workspace administrator, you can set set standards for calendar sharing for your organization by following this guide.

An an individual user or non-admin, you can share calendars using this guide.  Note that if your Google Workspace organization has set restrictions for calendar sharing, you may need to contact your Google Workspace administrator. 

Note that in order to schedule meetings on behalf of other team members, users must have both read and write access.

You should share write permissions to your calendars if you want teammates to be able to schedule meetings on behalf of you.
