
How to enable and use the Guru integration
Overview
The Guru integration gives you complete access to view and edit cards in your Guru knowledge base, right from Front. With Guru enabled in Front, your team can quickly look up or update answers to customer questions, training resources, product messaging, and more without needing to leave their inbox.
Like other integrations, you need to be an admin in order to enable the Guru integration.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the gear icon on the top right of Front and into the Company settings tab, and select Integrations from the left menu.
Step 2
Select Guru from the list of integrations. Click to the Settings section and toggle on Enabled. Click Save to finish enabling the integration.
Step 3
Go back to your Front inbox, and select Guru from the integrations sidebar menu.
Step 4
Log in using your Guru account credentials to connect Front with Guru.
Note: If you use Google OAuth to sign in to Guru, you will need to use Front's web app rather than the desktop app.
How it works
From the Guru plugin, use the search bar and navigation menu to find the card you're looking for.
If you have Author permissions in Guru, you can also create and edit Guru cards right from Front.
