How to enable and use the ChargeDesk integration

Overview

The ChargeDesk integration makes it easy to manage customer billing from Front. View subscription and charge history, issue refunds, and request new payments directly from your inbox. ChargeDesk connects Front with popular payment processors like Stripe, Braintree, Recurly, and more.

Like other integrations, you need to be an admin in order to enable the ChargeDesk integration.


Instructions

Step 1

Click the gear icon on the top right of Front and into the Company settings tab, and select Integrations from the left menu.

Step 2

Select ChargeDesk from the list of integrations. Click to the Settings section and toggle on Enabled. Click Save to finish enabling the integration.

Step 3

You can now display information and make changes to your customer subscriptions and charges directly in Front. Start by selecting ChargeDesk from the integrations sidebar menu.

Step 4

Log in using your ChargeDesk account credentials to connect Front with ChargeDesk.

Step 5

You will be able to see the information available in ChargeDesk and tied to the current message in Front. To view information for another customer, use the Search tab.  

Toggle between tabs to create new customers or edit customer details in ChargeDesk, issue new charges or subscriptions, refund payments, or cancel upcoming charges.
