IP Restrictions


Admins can define IP addresses or IP ranges that teammates on their Front instance must be using in order to access Front. 

When to use IP restrictions

This is a helpful feature to enable when you require your teammates access Front via a specific network, such as a VPN or your physical office IP. 

How to configure IP restrictions

In order to configure IP restrictions for your account, an admin on your team must email support@frontapp.com, and specify:

  • The IPs or IP ranges teammates should use to access Front.
  • If this restriction should apply to admins, non-admins, or all teammates.


This feature is available on the Scale plan or above. Some legacy plans with different names may also have this feature.
