Windows desktop notification duration

Edited

Overview

If you are using the Front desktop app on Windows, Windows has some unique settings that allow Front's notifications to hang around for a bit longer, or shorter, based on your preferences. This is set up within your Windows settings, so teammates can tailor their own experience.

Instructions

Keep Front notifications in the notification center

Step 1

Open the Windows Start Menu, then select Settings.

Step 2

Select System, then select Notifications.

Step 3

Under the Notifications from apps and other senders section, select the Front app.

Step 4

Enable the following settings:

  • Notifications: Toggle on to allow notifications for the Front app.

  • Show notification banners: Check the box to enable desktop push notifications.

  • Show notifications in notification center: Check the box to ensure Front notifications display in your notification center

Now, you'll be able to click the notification at the bottom right of your Windows taskbar, and view all of your Front notifications in the notification center. This helps ensure that you never miss any notifications from Front!
