How to enable and use the Sunshine Conversations integration


The Sunshine Conversations (formerly Smooch) integration allows you to display information in Front's plugin panel about your customers, when it's available in Sunshine Conversations. This integration is useful when you have a Sunshine Conversations inbox set up in Front.

Like other integrations, you need to be an admin in order to enable the Sunshine Conversations integration.


Step 1

Click the gear icon on the top right of Front and into the Company settings tab, and select App store from the left menu.

Step 2

Select Sunshine Conversations from the list of integrations. Click See details, then click Enable app.

Step 3

Retrieve your ID and Secret by logging in to the Sunshine Conversations website. In Sunshine Conversations, select Settings.

Step 4

Scroll down to the API Keys section and copy your ID and Secret. If you have none, create one for your application. See Sunshine Conversations’ documentation for more information.
Step 5

In Front, click Configure app. Paste your ID and Secret into your Sunshine Conversations integration settings in Front. Click Save.

Step 6

You can now use the Sunshine Conversations plugin to display information in Front about your customers, and where they're contacting you from.
