How to enable and use the Merge integration

Overview

Merge’s core product is a Unified API that connects into Front and dozens of other Ticketing platforms. With Merge, developers integrate just once to provide an entire vertical of integrations to their customers.

Developers use Merge’s API to access normalized data from Front and other ticketing platforms. Front customers authenticate their Front account through Merge’s Link UI, which is embedded in a Merge customer’s product. With Front specifically, developers using Merge can GET & POST conversations, inboxes, comments, contacts, accounts, and users. When developers integrate with Merge, Front customers benefit from an expanded ecosystem of applications which all offer seamless, high-quality integrations with Front.

You must have Front company admin permissions to set up the integration.
