How to set up OneLogin (SSO) in Front

Edited

🚩 Caution: Changes to SSO settings can affect all users on your platform and their ability to access Front. Please contact us for assistance before making this transition if you have any questions.

Overview

Front supports Single Sign On (SSO) in conjunction with OneLogin. Please follow the instructions below to set up your SSO. We recommend staying signed in an incognito window which will allow you to tweak the configuration if something is incorrect.

Instructions

Step 1

In Front, follow the steps in this article to enable SSO in Front. This will generate the ACS URL and Entity ID fields to add to OneLogin.

Step 2

In OneLogin, use the SAML Custom Connector (Advanced) to add Front as an application. When you select this connector, you can use the name Front, add a description, and upload an icon. Click Save.

Step 3

After saving, you'll arrive at a new screen. Select the Configuration tab and do the following:

  • Input the Front ACS URL value into the OneLogin ACS URL Validator and ACS URL fields.

  • Input the Front Entity ID value into the OneLogin Audience (EntityID) field.

Step 4

Click Save to finish.
