Set up an email encryption workflow between Front and Microsoft Exchange

Edited

Overview

Set up a mailflow rule in your Microsoft Exchange server to encrypt outbound messages sent from Front.

When an email is composed and sent from Front, the mailflow rule will be triggered on your Exchange server, and the output will be an encrypted email sent to the recipient.

Important to know:

  • Front is replacing Outlook as your email client.

  • Front is simply sitting on top of your email infrastructure and will honor and obey how your email server is configured.

  • Front as a technology itself encrypts data at rest using AES-256 bit encryption and data in transit using TLS 1.2.
